    does NOD32 V.2 work fine with Vista X64 ?

    And' necessary also to disable windows defender?

    No , it isn't . They complement well with each other.

    no issues with NOD32 3.0 and 2.7 (on 64-bit XP)
    eset was the first to support 64-bit :thumb:

    Hi,


    I currently possess a license for NOD32 V.3 that use on XP PRO X86 SP3 [ in the desktop ], but on the new laptop HP Pavilion dv6787el [ Vista Business X64 ] I will install' NOD32 V.2.7 :cool:

    Out of curiousity - why v2.7 on the x64 machine ? v3 and the upcoming newer version are the future . One cannot fight future threats with utilities from the past and NOD32 v2 is definitely something from the past . Yes , the past was nice , great program but the future isn't bad either

    Works fine here :).
    I did disable Windows Defender because I don't like the program, but before I did I couldn't find any compatibility issues.
