    Hi Guys.

    Just a quicky here,AD/PG are said to protect against undocumented installations and the like,my Q is,if it's undocumented,how do they know they protect us from that sort of thing,or have i miss-read that?

    Hi Tony,

    Undocumented rootkit installations simply mean the method these rootkits use to install themselves are undocumented. In much the same way, but differently, AppDefend uses undocumented methods to protect against the undocumented attack. Hope that makes sense. :)

    I guess you meant, as an example, the undocumented Sony rootkit would have been prevented by AP.
