Twister AV worth using?

Is Twister AV worth using anymore? opinions please.

 

TAV is an antivirus plus behavior blocker. It is very light. Signatures are updated one or more times daily. Its detection rates in on-demand & pro-active tests can be viewed in a Nov 2009 report, downloadable as a zipped PDF file from HERE.The results are shown as "Filseclab" -- the proponent organization for TAV.

Filseclab is evidently a small organization. Thus, although they update signatures with good reliability, they have been slower in updating TAV's main engine than other antivirus organizations.

I have a lifetime license for TAV, but presently use TAV only for 2nd opinions. My main AV is Prevx-free, used in conjunction with imaging software.

 

not to bad for detection. im just surpised that a lifetime license that not many people here use it.

 

Twister is an excellent AV. I tested that av with some rogues and 0 day malwares. it detected almost all malwares . malwares it couldnt detect with signature was detected with its behavior blocking feature.

My opinion is that Twister is a decent AV in detection, which for a typical Wilders' user is more than enough. It's not Avira, but it's decent. There are worse than Twister out there for more money... So from the perspective of cost-effectiveness, it's very good.

I have a lifetime license too, but until they release a 64bit version, i can't use it anymore.

 

yeah i havnt a clue why they wont maybe next year, they are to be releasing a beta this next few months i think.

Does twister have issue running under an limited accounts?

i tried it and the icon in the system try didnt show, but didnt state or show when you start the computer that services are loading,scanning memeory etc.

is that a limitation?
