    Hi,

    I got an ibm scsi hard disk attached to a 29320lp scsi adaptec controller; well, I made a rescue disc but rebooting using it, TI9 marks grayed out that scsi disk so that I can not restore from that scsi.

    Is there any update with which I can solve this?

    It's important for me cause that scsi disk got high performances and reliability .

    Than a lot,

    First thing you should do is to update to the latest build (2337).

    IMPORTANT: Make sure you uninstall 2302 before installing the new build.

    Then make a new rescue disk and try again.:cool:

    Hello plus,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    First of all, please follow Ozmaniac's suggestion and update to the latest build (2337) of Acronis True Image 9.0 which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/

    To get access to updates you should create an account at:
    http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/
    then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

    Please uninstall build 2302 by following Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Acronis True Image, prior to installing build 2337.

    Please create new Bootable Rescue CD after installing the update, boot your PC from this CD and see if the problem still persists.

    If the problem still persists with Bootable Rescue CD created using the latest build (2337) of Acronis True Image 9.0 then please provide us with the following information:

    - Create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post;

    Please keep your "ibm scsi hard disk" connected while creating Acronis Report and Linux System Information (sysinfo.txt).

    - Have you tried to restore an image of the entire hard drive or an image of a single system partition?

    - Where do you store this image?

    - What destination (partition\hard drive) for the image restoration have you selected?

    - Use a digital camera (if possible) to make a shots of your consequent steps taken during the image restoration process or describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step;

    - Let us know on what exact step you see that your "ibm scsi hard disk" is greyed out.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
