Was wondering how nod32 deals with this.

My son runs xp with NAV 2004. Yesterday he started to get messages that he was infected with trojan.vundo. When he ran the Symantec cleanup tool the tool told him he wasn't infected. Catch 22. The boards told him he was not alone. There were many in the same situation with an infected situation with the cleanup tool wouldn't clean.

He eventually fixed it with fixes from techguy and another site.

Obviously its out there again. Will nod32 stop[ it at the door as NAV should have inasmuch as they have known about it for over a year?

I have had a issue with this particular Trojan, so I have a few questions in the pipeline awaiting answers...

    Cheers :D

There's a Win32/Vundo entrie in the 1.861 (20040904) update, but the trojan is also called
    TrojanDownloader.Win32.Small.ve and Win32/TrojanDropper.Small.ve.

Win32/TrojanDropper.Small.ve can be found in the 1.1185 (20050801) update, which also added alot of old stuff to the defs.

So my guess is... Yeah it will detect it :)
