Today I installed spywareguard and spywareguard liveupdate on my XP machine w/service pack 2.

I am getting a runtime error #48, and it is then shutting down my system and automatically rebooting it. It is doing this about every 10 minutes on average. Naturally it is driving me nuts.

    How can this be stopped?

If I understand you correctly, no I don't have a dll name. o_O

Once it gives me this message, if it doesn't automatically shut my system down and reboot, it may allow me to click on IE, upon which I get the following response:

The application failed to initialize properly (oxc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application.

The only way to get the system up and running is to reboot. If I try to bring up the task manager, it also clears the screen and reboots the computer.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRr

Any ideas as to what is going on?
