I'm evaluating SCexp. & need to know the following:
After a scan, any nasties are displayed in the Applications Actions page, where I can choose to allow, quarantine, ask, remove. If I choose "remove", a box tells me that the nasty is being removed in the background, but after clicking OK, the nasty's details remain displayed in Applications Actions. Has removal taken place & are the details retained simply as a record, or is there something I still need to do to remove nasties from my system?
Apart from this one question, my impression so far is very favourable, but this from an enthusiastic senior whose techknowledge could be written on the back of a postage stamp with space to spare!! :doubt: :) ;) :D

    Hi, :D

I myself have not used or heard of this program but I can tell you that SpySweeper, CounterSpy, AdAware, Spybot, and Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) have all performed well for me.

As well, don't feel too badly about your level of expertise. We all have to start somewhere .... and you certainly have chosen a reputable security forum to join by picking Wilders.

    HR
