Using "3 fingered DOS salute" last night, to kill one thing, I found something called CY8PYSFM.EXE
was on (and it resides in c win temp DIR and it also seems to have a file CY8PYSFM.lgc, in c win applog DIR).

When killing CY8PYSFM.EXE there was message about either WatchDog or GuardDog would therefore no longer be active. Neither name rings a bell; anyone know what they may go to? Nothing bad, I hope?

Later, running Spybot, for some reason there was a red exclamation point associated with desktop dialer for ATT global network that I have - tho' I don't use that particular dialer much. Spybot also said "InterSysInc" about the dialer, which doesn't tell me spit, really. Any idea what that means? (By the way, I ran Spybot, after getting latest updates, 5-6, I think it was if that has any bearing on the matter).

Thanks for advice, info. SG1 (Pat)

Well, Trojan Hunter has a guard feature that involves using a randomly named EXE file that resides in the Temp folder... It runs and monitors the main TH process to make sure it is not killed. The name is random in order to prevent it from being killed as well.

Do you have Trojan Hunter and were you using its guard?
