Registration Question

Hi,

I've got 3 machines with ESET 4 on them. The license needs to be renewed in the next few days, so I bought a "3-User Pack" and have a couple of questions.

In the past, I've had the "Username and Password" which I used to register with. When I renewed, it was enough to use those on the version I already had installed. I kept the program updated, so it generally already had the most recent version on the machine anyway, and it avoided the uninstall/reinstall.

With the 3-User version, I only get the "Activation Key". It's my understanding that I'm to use that key on all 3 systems. Can I just go into my existing installations, pick the Activation Key method and enter the new ID or do I really have to uninstall/reinstall with this.

Also, one of the machines is a dual-boot setup, Win7/32 and Win7/64. With the single-user version, I could just use the same Username and Password on both installations. I checked here at the time and was told that was permitted since I couldn't run both versions at once and they were on the same machine.

Does that hold true with the Activation Key also, e.g. I just need to use the same key in all four places (3 Win7/32 machines and the Win7/64 side of the dual-boot box)?

The easiest way to renew with the Activation Key is to register the Activation Key online at http://www.eset.com/activate. This will provide you with a new username and password you can use on all three computers. Enter the new username and password into the program on each computer so the program will update with the new license information.

If you choose to uninstall/reinstall with the CD, you can only activate with the activation key once. You will be emailed a new username and password and for the next two computers (and all following installations) you will activate with that new username and password.
