    Hi all!

I have installed the newest version von PrivateFirewall. On my system I have installed VMWare Workstation 6.
I installed WinXP in the VMware and confiugrated the network so that the VM get our IP from the router (with includes a DHCP).

Now when I work with the VM and would go e.g. with Firefox to the internet the PrivateFirewall block it.

Can someone tell me how I create a rule that I have internet access from my VM?

    Tia

Settings > Advanced > Detected Applications

Right click on the application that you want to allow.

Or you can "Enable training",this way Privatefirewall will learn your programs.

Thx for the tips. Under Detected Applications all processes from VMware are allowed. I try the training mode.

    Hi all!
The tip with the training mode work fine. But today (I think the training-period is finished) the firewall also block the traffic from my VMware :(
