PC Weather Software question

Hello, I currently use Weatherbug as my weather provider on the PC but I am seeking other solutions... but my question today is this. I have came across this website: http://www.weather.gov/inlr.php and I am concerned by what it says that it means there will be no more capability of companies like Weatherbug or The Weather Channel's program "Desktop Weather" to recieve severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service.

Can anyone tell me if this is what that webpage means or if it means just for the forecasts?

They are referring to the Interactive Weather Information Network page. Link

The info will still be available to the public.

Product views and arrangements previously only available on IWIN are now available on other NOAA websites:

* Text products without graphics in low bandwidth format;
* Graphics/Text products with graphics;
* Combined lists of current text products are available;
* Products sorted by State;
* Watches and warnings sorted by State/County with RSS/XML feeds;
* National text products;
* Warning products for the entire US sorted by Warning Type;
* NWS text products sorted by product types;
* Graphical displays of active watch/warnings;
* Radar Displays;
* Graphical Flood Displays;
* Uniform interface to find Climate information;
* Satellite images and loops;

Additional information:

* EMWIN information pages will be hosted on another webserver. Redirects will be used to seamlessly direct users to the new locations;
* While all information on IWIN is available on other NWS websites, there may be differences in presentation and look and feel;
* If termination is decided upon, IWIN traffic will be directed to a termination page that includes links to help users locate the same information in simliar formats;
* If termination is decided upon, some IWIN pages will be automatically redirected to similar pages on other NWS websites.

Hi Ron, thanks for letting me know and replying. Its very very appreciated. So this means that the weather info that is retrieved from the National Weather Service servers to Weatherbug for example will still be OK and no interference?
