    Hi again CooLTempo,

Actually, I'll split your last post (above) and this one off and move it over to the Software & Services forum a little later as it may be helpful to others.

A couple years back (or more) I evaluated a couple voice recognition packages which worked really well. You use a head set (ear piece and microphone) plugged into your PC's sound card, and the software learns your voice patterns and allows you to control both PC functions and enter text simply by talking.

Given this was more than two years ago, I imagine these packages have only been improved upon since then. Back then the leader in personal computing voice recognition seemed to be "Dragon Systems, Inc." and they had an excellent, high volume (i.e. talking at nearly normal speed) package called Dragon NaturallySpeaking(tm).

    Take a look here: http://www.dragontalk.com/

You might want to look into this. :)

    Best Wishes,
    LowWaterMark

Well, that was just an example of an available tool. It may take a little more research to find other tools, and other distribution sites that may well be much cheaper. This product and similar ones are sold at many computer stores and online web stores. (Amazon as an example may provide this and others cheaper, too.) I didn't pay anything near that price a couple years back...

But, do look around and ask the companies some serious questions.
