Improved integration with Collective Intelligence backend to obtain new malware variants even faster.
New toolbar version 3.0 with Google search instead of Yahoo search.
Fixed slowdowns while deleting files from the computer.
Fixed BSOD under certain conditions when unloading one of the Panda drivers.
Fixed synchronization erros (same as already released hotfix).
Fixed issues scanning certain type of folders (as reported by AV-Comparatives)
Fixed upgrade notification popup showing up every 20 minutes.
Fixed problem of certain auxiliary files being written to the root of the drive when ProgramData directory could not be found.
Fixed disinfection problem under certain conditions on malware running in memory.
Fixed problem under certain situations when a malware detected without Internet connectivity was not recorded in the event report.
Fixed problems disinfecting certain malware with specific format and characteristics.

Thanks for the 'heads-up' anuraag. I have two questions re updating v1.5.1:

    - Do we have to update manually or will it occur automatically?

    - If manually, can v1.5.2 be installed over v1.5.1?

My installation of Panda has been reporting for a few weeks now that many(most) attempts to synchronize with the cloud fail. It has not synchronized for more than 4 days.

I posted about this in the Panda Cloud forum and I didn't get any responses that made me feel any better....I was told that this synchronization was only needed when I was offline.

If Panda cannot call home when it needs to synchronize is their any reason I should believe that Panda will be able to call home when it needs to check the signature of a potential virus?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I expect that if I don't learn something that makes me feel secure about this situation I will try to uninstall/reinstall, or possible try the Beta 1.9 version which I have been trying on a virtual environment.

Thank you for the rapid response.

I tried the test file and it was instantly neutralized.....that makes me feel better. I will also go ahead and install the 1.5.2 version.

    Thanks again.

I might go back to panda. I don't like the fact shadowdefender and comodo killswitch won't run while having WSA installed. That might be enough to send me back into the panda's arms. Hows 1.5.2 running?

SD and PCAV (v1.5.1 and now v1.5.2) seem to love each other. :D

Yeah I know. I think I might change back. I think that WSA is slightly lighter than panda but not by much. I do hate the fact that I can't use killswitch or shadowdefender. Not that I use either a lot but its the principle. I hate software that restricts other software.

Why wait? - just download and install it (you will first have to uninstall v1.5.1).

Waiting makes all this unnecessary. The process is very smooth.

That's why, a lot easier than uninstalling 1.5.1, rebooting, installing 1.5.2 with toolbar to get URL filtering, uninstall toolbar and remove toolbar traces from browsers.
