If I remember correctly they found the bug a few posts later and fixed the issue.

Is 0x0304A000.sfl found on drive C related to PCAV? I deleted it yesterday and now the sfl file is there again. Googled the sfl file and said that it was for Sony Vegas (which I don't have). There are also OJT logfiles I saw that they have PCAV installed and they also have this sfl file sitting on their drive.

It seems like they could be related, but they should not be located in those directories, they should only be located under the Panda directory in ProgramData.

We are revising the code right now to see if there is a bug which is causing these files to be located outside their normal location.

EDIT: they are not always 0 bytes.

These files should reside under the path "app data\all users\Panda Security". For those of you which had this issue, can you please check the following:

    a) If the above path is longer than 260 characters (maybe you custom-pointed %allusersprofile% to a different location than the default one?)

    b) If the above path exists (it should exist but let's check it just in case).

    c) If the above path is pointing to a virtual folder (under Vista/Win7).

You don't need Panda installed to provide the info above. With the answers about your %allusersprofile% should be enough.

I have a question. Does Panda show anything differently if a threat is found during a scan? I do a scan and all it does at the end is say it completed successfully. Will something change during the scan or will it say infections were found after the scan finishes?

@ams963, @JoeBlack40 and @22ndcitysaint, can you please post where your %allusersprofile% is pointing to?

Don't really need a dirlist, just to know the full path of your %allusersprofile%.
