Panda Anti-Rootkit

    Hi

    Since I read this was an excellent anti-rootkit, I decided to run it.

    In the options, it says perform in-depth scan (requires restart).

    Does this mean it has boot-time scanning?

    The last time I ran this ark I wasn't impressed, detection was average and they do not fix f/ps. It belongs to the 'You have a rootkit' club.

    I ran it one time. I wasn't impressed either but for another reason : it didn't detect anything. :)

    Would you rather it would have found rootkits on your computer??:D

    Yes, in that case I would have known, that my actual security/recovery solution isn't strong enough to protect me against rootkits.

    If you had run it when you were using your current set up, isn't that a good thing?

    It means there are no FPs.:D
