(I installed omniquad firewall and gave it a trial and tested it at several different places and at GRC it failed terribly a lot of open ports it accepted packets when offered. I tested it at sygate and it failed there to. I had all settings at max. After testing this product I can not in good concious recomend it. Maybe someone has had better luck with it.
I have a post on page two about omniqud if you want to read it.

I installed it yesterday - after disabling KPF - and it was a big problem
it asked me to allow programs connecting to the internet (IE,OE..etc), when I choose 'yes' nothing happens o_O o_O
it blocks internet access for all origrams, allowed and not allowed..
finally I uninstalled it and returned back to my KPF :D

Just a quick note to all our members about Omniquad Firewall. I was able to contact the developer about the problems on this firewall....He has pulled it off the web and put it back on the drawing board. As indicated by many members there are numerous problems with this firewall and the bugs need to be taken out and refined. Will keep you posted on this one

Thank You for all your responses. I was right in two ways:
    1. Do not trust in everything you find on the net.
    2. If you need any information about any app found on the net, ask wilderssecurity.com first :)
I hope Omniquad will be a good firewall on one day.

    Ari

I was able to receive a response from the developer. They have removed all the bugs from their fireewall and are in the process of testing it out now. They will be releasing it shortly. Will keep everyone posted when its released. Hopefully this firewall will be a good one...however will have to wait and see.
