    Using Nod32 Version 3.0.667 on WinXp Sp3

For some reason the notification window has decided to open in the middle of the screen instead of the lower right above the system tray which is the default. Tried going into advanced setup/user interface/alerts and notifications and used default settings. I even tried to drag the preview window to the lower right hoping it would stay there, but that doesn't work either. A minor problem, I know, but I am curious if I am missing something.

    Thanks

    Thank you, Thankful

The following quoted post #9 from Prius04 fixed the problem.
There were 2 registry keys labeled Desktop Placement 1 and Desktop Placement 2. Deleting those put everything back to normal.

"I found some keys that are related to desktop notification placement under the reg entry that you mentioned - HCU\Software\Eset\Eset Security\CurrentVersion\Client - deleted them and it worked instantly.....didn't even have to reboot. I rebooted anyway and everything appears to be functioning as intended."
