We have been doing some tests with NOD32 B2 and have noticed a few issues.

With Port Explorer already installed, we installed NOD32 B2 . We had no real issues with anything. We then uninstalled Port Explorer and lost network activity.

We found that NOD32 had "protected" and renamed the entries in the provider chain for the Port Explorer LSP. Now why it would do this when the DLL had clearly been uninstalled and deleted is beyond me. Possibly its job of being a "pass through" failed when it couldn't find Port Explorer's DLL ?

I'd be interested in the aim of NOD32 IMON, because if its aim is to control all the LSP's it is doing a poor job at the moment. It doesn't update when new LSP's are added, etc, and breaks when LSP's get removed. If it's aim isn't that I see no reason for what NOD32 is doing.

I realise this is a BETA but I'm still curious :)

    Hi Jason,

with the following beta all issues regarding LSP's can be solved easily. There has been an option to automatically (or manually) fix possible network problems added to IMON. Please check our website regularly for the next beta release, it should be available for download soon.
