I received an e-mail to-day from Lisa Clancy from support at Kaspersky UK.

" I have had some feedback from the Product Development manager in charge of AntiHacker.

We performed a set of tests based on these internet resources from your e-mail - This was a set of different online testing sites I compiled for them

Antihacker is passing all of the tests successfully.

The only test causing 'non-stealthed' result was PC Flank test.

Our developers were able to locate and fix this problem.

At the moment we have a new version with this stealth PC Flank problem fixed.

It is not yet fully tested and we don't want to release a new version with only this functionality fixed.

Still we need at least 2 weeks more for ADSL compatibility check.

In addition, we are planning to add some features to this current version and release it as version 1.5 with the following features:

    - Fixed stealth problem ( discovered during PC Flank tests)
    - ADSL support
    - Additional pre-defined rules to support more internet-enabled software
    - One more intrusion detection will be added.

In addition, we have plans to make a public beta-version before releasing 1.5 with all the functionality described above.

As soon as I have details on the Beta I will let you know."

A big thanks to Lisa for all her hard work since I contacted her and a big thanks to all those people here at wilders whose problems were passed on to the main Russian Kaspersky site.

Kaspersky Support has improved tremendously of late and I am sure they are taking some note of our complaints and ideas for improvements.

Maybe they will release a patch for the stealth fix before version 1.5 comes out?

    Hi Blackcat

Well it took a little time, but they finally heard and appear to be working on that issue along with other improvements.

Good effort on your part and the other users to stick with it.

    Regards,

    CrazyM
