Nero 6.6 Ultra Edition Update – New Features!

I do not see a download for Part 1 that states that there is no embedded Yahoo toolbar.

 

Over at cdfeaks.com they're saying that there is no more Yahoo Toolbar, that it's the "Ask Jeeves" toolbar and that you can choose a download with or without it. Haven't tried it myself. See this thread:

Here's the answer.

During the install, one is asked whether the Ask toolbar shold be installed and whether it should be the default, I guess, search critter.

I unchecked the box to NOT make it the default, then I did not authorize installation of the Ask toolbar.

I was rather surprised that I was not asked to reboot after the install.

 

Could someone help me out with this, when I lauch Nero it shows version 6.6.1.4 and if I click "check for updates" is shows that there is none. The new version you are talking about is 6.6.1.15. Now please don't flame me, but doesn't 6.6.1.4 (this would seem to be 6.6.1.40 to me) come after 6.6.1.15?

i done the same thing pressed the update button in the program and says ive got the latest version.
maybe they haven't sent out the update when you press update in program yet?
btw ive got nero reloaded the UK version and not the US ultra edition don't think it matters thou

just download teh (latest) installer and itll update your old version.

 

OK I understand now, I was looking at 4 as 40 and you are saying in reality it is 04.

yes, that should be right. as an example of previous versions, 6.6.0.12 came after 6.6.0.8
