Music player of choice for gnome

    Yes, two of everything for me and, at least for the present, it is exaile and banshee. Cheap laptop with Crackerjack speakers needs an equalizer. I saw the instructions to enable an eq for pulse system-wide but I usually wait a few months before i bork my os.

    Those instructions when followed to T won't bork your laptop, have done it quite a few times.

    Yeah, I was being a little dramatic there. But I really do not like to make any changes that are unnecessary to my system right after it comes out (as 10.04 just did). This way, if something goes wrong, I have a good idea it is either an update or hardware problem. The way I am, most of my reinstalls in the past were due to minor issues. I saw the instructions for pulse and they look fairly easy and straightforward. But I am satisfied with exaile (and banshee), so it seems unnecessary at the moment.
