Microsoft Mouse and build 2323

My Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 will not work correctly with the boot CD in build 2323, or when I boot from the Secure Zone. I just got it, so I don't know if it would work with a prior build. USB legacy support is disabled. The pointer only moves up and down, but only when the mouse is moved from side to side. Please help.

I had same problem with 2302. Until its fixed it is possible to navigate with Tab, Arrows, and Spacebar to toggle.

Same here, with Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0! Also since Version 2302 and still in version 2323... And the problem that TI freezes with network backups is still in, this program is and absolut nightmare!!! I use at the moment my very old TI 8.0 Version 825, witch works perfect for me! Cash refound...

 

Yes. It was supposed to be fixed on this release, but it remains the same. Acronis released a workaround that works, in my case. Press F11 while seeing "starting acronis....." message, and type in the command box "usbmouse=off" (without quotes). As I told before, in my case works.

Why has Acronis not responded to this post? I see other posts have been responded to. This may not be an across-the-board problem, but none-the-less, it is an important problem to those of us who are experiencing it!

 

Acronis has responded to similar past posts. It will be fixed when it's fixed.

Apparently not soon enough.

Please be aware that the problem with the improper functioning of wireless mouses when PC is booted from Acronis True Image 9.0 Bootable Rescue CD is known. However, it is still in the process of the investigation.

If you encounter such problem when booted from Bootable Rescue CD created using the latest build (2323) of Acronis True Image 9.0 then please create Lniux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please keep your wireless mouse connected while creating Linux system information.

Submit a request for technical support with the subject indicating that you want to contact Alexey Popov. Attach the collected sysinfo.txt file to your request along with the exact vendor and model of your wireless mouse and the link to this thread. I'll forward this information to our Development Team and it will certainly help them to investigate and fix this problem faster. We would highly appreciate your collaboration on this matter.

P.S. Please also note that while this problem is being investigated, you can try booting with "usbmouse=off" parameter as Manolo_BF has suggested above.

I have sent in the sysinfo.txt info as described and encourage others to do so as well. However, there is one detail not mentioned, which is that the sysinfo.txt file created under linux cannot be copied and sent through Windows and thus cannot be emailed to tech support. Alexey gave me the work around which is to image the floppy and send the image. Use the following "dd" program to image the floppy: http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/rawwrite/dd.htm
You need to copy dd.exe to the system32 folder then from run, type:
dd if=\\.\a: of=c:\temp\disk1.img bs=1440k
That creates the image in c:\temp. Attach that to the email.

P.S. I have a Logitech cordless optical mouseman, so the problem is not just with the microsoft mice.
