Microsoft backs Industry Botnet Group to tackle infected Windows machines

    Interesting article. I would have posted it in the general security news section if the author were a smidge less on the Linux fanboi side...
    Once you get past the strong slant of the article, I think the Industry Botnet Group will be something interesting to watch. It would be nice if it actually made a difference.

    I think there are at least 250 Million Bots out there, probably closer to 500 million.

    Give Microsoft credit for trying to tackle this, even in a very slow manner.

    I didn't notice any "strong slant," except for the last line, and that's simply the truth.
