Microsoft alerts public re: new trojan attack

    There are certain files identified that will indicate if you have been compromised.

    I found one on my system, flashfxp, but it doesn't appear to have been accessed in a while. I wonder if one has to have all of the files or one of the files like Gg.bat

    Then I found some ws_ftp logs from a while back. It was accessing the game Dune I have installed but never played through a server.

    The article says MS can't figure out how the hackers are implementing the trojan. With all the nerds at MS, come on.

    You know flashfxp and ws_ftp (pro) are ftp programs. Is it possible you tried those out in the past?
