    Hi Tahoma,

the following only applies to Flashget, 'cos that's what I use, along with KAV.....the exact combination you specified!

In Flashget, click on Tools, then Options, then on the File Manager tab.. Place a tick on the option "Use virus scanner to scan the downloaded file(s)" to enable the virus scanning. Then click the Browser button right next to that option (directly on the right) to locate the command line that activates your virus scanner. I don't know about other AVs, but in my KAV 4.5, it goes something like this:

C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro\Avp32.exe (assuming you accepted the default installation options)

Then, of course, verify the types of files you want your AV to scan when Flashget finishes downloading: this is in "file types to send to virus scanner" box just below. You can add to the default file types if you wish.

I honestly don't know about that little "args" box, but the KAV scanner automatically/immediately scans all my Flashget downloads when the latter is done, without any need to specify anything in that box.

If you've done all this already without being successful (and that's why you asked about "args"), then sorry for wasting your time. If you haven't, and you try it and it works, well then, congratulations!

    Hope this helps......good luck
