Hi, I have Kaspersky 5.0 installed and Kerio 4.XX Personal Firewall free edition installed. There is an option in Kaspersky real-time protection settings to protect against network attacks. In those options, it has stealth mode. Is protection against network attacks necessary when I have a firewall? What does the stealth mode do?
    Any answers much appreciated.

No, you should disable it completely when using a firewall to avoid problems, it's only for those without a FW:

    Reboot afterwards.:)
