JUST SAFE VPN

Hello, i read many threads where are explain most of vpn problems. But my question its simple. Where buy VPN. Means what company, i dont trust any company who have severs on "bad countries" means usa, uk, etc, even if they have also china or singapore i think only safe and trust VPN its located in some poor country, and have only servers in this countries. Best be if this country hate USA, EU countries, then you can be sure, even if they log anythink, they dont give it away.

Any1 knows vpn from china?korea?vietnam? But not big company who have other servers too.

Why is it necessary for the country to be an enemy of the USA? I can understand not wanting to use A VPN that is based in the USA or using VPN servers in the USA but there are a host of countries that are safe to use DEPENDING on what you are wanting to do. For people doing HIGHLY Illegal things such as hacking that can get you put in jail for a very long time Im not really sure what VPN you could trust to protect your identity for things like that. If you are wanting to protect your browsing activity from your ISP and government snooping and want to avoid getting DMCA notices for downloading things then there are VPNS that can help with these things.
Sweden is a good country for VPN as well as some others. Most countries while they do have laws that require ISPs to keep logs of traffic for certain period of time DO NOT require VPNS to keep logs.... With a VPN it is all about getting to know the company you are doing business with and deciding if you believe you can trust them or not..\

 

The only 100% safe VPN from snooping is on a boat in international waters, or in low earth orbit. Every other VPN is subject to search and seizure from their parent countries if you draw that kind of attention.

 

In my opinion, you are safest using VPNs that are run by those who are firmly committed to freedom and privacy, have integrity, and know what they're doing. I suggest that you read the thread that marktor linked, with that in mind.

 

The distinction between "bad" and "good" countries is highly subjective, and depends entirely upon what you're doing or who/what you're trying to avoid. FWIW, the four countries you mentioned as being on your "good" list (Singapore, China, Korea, and Vietnam) are all, in fact, economic allies of the United States/European Union... especially Singapore and Korea, which are considered by the IMF to be advanced economies.

Just about every country in the world is a member of INTERPOL, and there many treaties in place to facilitate international cooperation in cybercrime investigations between the various jurisdictions. There's really no such thing as a "data haven" country anymore.

Also, if you use a service in a country that "hates" the USA/EU, what incentive would they have to protect your privacy if you're not one of their own citizens? If you're a foreigner who's causing problems and you break a law in such a country, their government is going to be more than happy to rat you out.

 

Sorry FireMan your thinking is backwards, poor or rich has nothing to do with any of this. It has more to do with the laws and privacy and human rights of a country, more than anything.

So if you are thinking of Mainland China forget it!

South Korea might be ok, but, who here really knows the laws of that country in regards to rights and privacy on their citizens, that's the big question.

Vietnam, coming from the era of communism, where it stands now, compared to those days is certainly a lot better, but you'd have a hard time convincing me to use this country for a VPN service.

I've said it before many times and I'll say it again, Sweden is one of the best countries in the world for a VPN service...
