Is it necessary to delete my cookie cache before logging on to my bank account?

    Hi, I usually delete my cookies before I log on to my bank account but recently forgot to do so. After I logged on I noticed that I had some tracking cookies on my PC. Can these steal my passwords? Can someone define the type of "data" these bad cookies are supposed to transmit? Thankyou.
