    Hi Guys, Gals and others,
Recently I have had an issue with Nod32 V2 showing the following message after a download. (Log below).

    Path C:\Downloads\flashbrand2-tutor.exe\ is invalid.

The site is password protected, however, my Getright program (and Windows download) remembers the password, and starts to download the relevant file. After the download, Nod32 scanner operates, and then gives the above message. The file shows in my download folder as 0 bytes, even though the file is at least 5Mb.

I have fiddled with the settings/options and still receive the same message,
but Only from this web page. Some files from the same site download O K, and other files from other password/non password sites download fine.

I have Not deactivated Nod32 whilst downloading for any site.

    Any thoughts/suggestions/help are greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Marknod

How are you scanning the file? Are you using some sort of "scan file for viruses after download" option in GetRight?

Hi Alglove, Thankyou for your reply.
However, I have managed to work out why Nod32 was saying that the file is Invalid.

I had ticked the box for "Potentially Dangerous Applications" in scanner setup.
When I "unticked" the box, The downloads have been fine.

I also found the files located in the Quarantine folder (Possible Hueristic), and restored them.
(Highlight, Right click, Restore or Restore to)

No other issues so far and the files work fine.

    Thanks again.

I hope I have helped somebody else, whom mayhave the same issue.
