iexplore virus?

    internet explorer starts running from startup everytime boot my machine, but it doesnt bring a window up, even if i end process like 10-15 minutes later it stars again, i have comodo firewall, that says its trying to acces a specific ip address, nothing seems to shift it, ive tried all sorts, most of which were ran in safe mode too,

    avast boot time scan,
    spybot search and destroy,
    ad-aware 2008,
    x-cleaner micro-edition, (trend-micro)
    a squared,
    superantispyware,
    ewido, (kinda outdated but still found stuff)
    glary utilities,
    system mechanic 7,
    xoftspy se,


    and yet its still there,
    any advice

    Try a scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, Dr.Web Cure IT and AVP tool

    I would do a "whois" lookup of that IP address.
    It may yield some clues.

    i did as said n apparently the ip address is a company called layeredtech
    the ip address is "72.233.92.123"

    Can you set up rules in Comodo to block that IP address?

    Will this do anything for his possible infection?
    Once blocked, will it try another?
    Have more tools been download to thwart some of his protections?

    They are a hosting company out of Texas. I believe they also assist in managing the internet mostly on the west coast by balancing, via grid computing, the load acrossed the servers on the grid, or provide the software to do so.
