well geswall is a sandbox hips whereas prosecurity is a classical hips. Its hard to compare them directly.

GesWall is more quiet and it works by restricting (isolating) applications from performing malicious actions.

    Hello,

Would you be protected or as protected?

This is a million yen question. The answer is: all and any security setup, regardless of what programs it includes, is as good only as its weakest point - the user.

It's all up to you. You can use any xyz combination, as long as you know what you're doing, you'll be more than fine - and vice versa. No amount of programs will save you from your own undoing.

I think that GesWall will offer greater amounts of security due to its sandbox architecture.

Rather than blocking only a limited number of suspicious behaviours like Prosecurity does, GesWall will sandbox / isolate applications completely.

This means that in theory if a new threat is released that Prosecurity can't block, GesWall will still block it from damaging ur pc.

I for one will never use feature limited lite security software as the developers deliberately leave holes in their protection that malware can easily exploit. e.g. prosecurity free or zone alarm free.
