I have installed comodo firewall , I remember that in the past when you installed comodo firewall
the windows defender firewall was automatically disabled but apparently recently things have changed
and they are working side by side . However it seems some processes of defender is being blocked
    How to whitelist defender?

1 If you install Comodo Firewall (not Comodo Internet Security) then Windows firewall will not turn off automatically. If you want to turn it off, you can, and this is even recommended, but you need to do it manually.

2 Next time you get a block, switch to advanced display, and find the relevant entry in the block events, and select unblock for all components.
Then find the newly created rules in the various components that you use (firewall, HIPS), click on them, and replace any random character strings with an asterisk *.
I don't think you need to worry about autocontainment, though. In my experience, it will not block WD processes.
