I've just registered on this website 'cause I Installed Vipre Anti-virus -It Sucks BTW - On Windows 7 and I faced problem when I tried to Uninstall it (I didn't Find It On Add/Remove Program List) and when I googled it I found Many topics on this site asking about the way to remove this ****

And the Answer Is simply download Or Open Vipra Anti-virus.exe (The One You Opened When you needed to Install the antivirus) and It will show you the 2 Options , Select Uninstall Virpe and Enjoy :) :)

I Hope I Helped :argh: :argh:

I believe there was an uninstall tool made by VIPRE which could be downloaded. If you search this site or the GFI/Sunbelt forum (not sure which) you may be able to find it. I had similar problems when uninstalling the program, some script was left behind or something which would cause error messages.

Here's a handy MS Fixit tool...

Diagnose and fix program installing and uninstalling problems automatically

Among other things, the tool "resolves problems that prevent programs from being completely uninstalled and blocking new installations and updates".

Also you can choose to let the tool fix what it finds automatically, or have it ask you what to do. I chose the one that allows me to select which fixes to apply. ;)

    I whole-heartedly agree, JW. :)
I've been bumping up against install/uninstall issues lately, and I am hoping this takes care of them.
When I ran it, the report said it had found corrupt patch registry keys, and I told it to fix them. :thumb:
