Okay, long story short: I really want to run Arch Linux and love the concept of it. However I also want Full Disk Encryption, and I keep running into issues. No matter what guide I follow on their Wiki, forums, or elsewhere (such as https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/System_Encryption_with_LUKS) I can never get grub to boot the OS.

I have followed it to a 'T' 5 times now and I always one of two results:

    Grub:

    Code:
Alert! /dev/disk/by-uuid/<<uuid that is there>> no such device.

Other times (Following the exact same guide) I will get it to boot but fail with:

    Code:
    vgscan: unrecognized option '--sysinit'
Error during parsing of command line.
device-mapper: create ioctl failed: Device or resource busy
mount: mounting /dev/mapper/cryptvg-root on /new_root failed: Device or resource busy
ERROR: Failed to mount he real root device.
Bailing out, you are on your own. Good luck.

Any ideas? Can someone put up there grub config if anyone here is using Arch with LUKS?

Tried their forums and IRC to no avail.
