I found this little write up about firewalls at How Things Work, a great site.
    Find it here.
Very well put together, very informative, and it's not too dry reading material.
I don't know about others, but over a period of time, I learn about things in bits and pieces, so eventually I may understand the basics of some subject, but still have some holes in the knowledge bank. This article should fill in any holes for someone that is just learning about firewalls or knows a little about them.

Your welcome snap. If there are any subjects that I may be able to help with please let me know. I have plenty of time most days, and the internet is my life since I am disabled and don't get out much.
I don't have all the answers, but I usually have some good places to look. I think Jan probably has more than me though. He is a walking encyclopedia of information and he is always eager to share too.
It is always nice to come across someone that is eager to learn. ;)
