Hello,

I've been having this problem for a while now and a friend adviced me to post on this forum.

Whenever I connect to:

clarin.com
lanacion.com.ar (two main Argentine newspapers)


after surfing for a couple of pages my system goes bunkers. The task manager indicates that IE is using some 98% of the resources and the vent starts to work until I have to close that window.

I noticed that when that happens, usually the task bar says:

hxxp://hits.e.cl/cert/hit.dll


I just downloaded the Outpost Firewall (I was using Norton's) and it found a couple of adware stuff on my system. Still the problem remains.

Any thoughts

Try an online scanner such as Panda's. http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm You could also download Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4 and AdAware 1.06
