Hi, I recently changed the boot sequence on my PC to start up from the CD-ROM. I immeaditly inserted my Windows XP Home Edition CD into the drive and everything went on like normal until I tried to delete the current partition of drive C to create a new partition.

However, I am getting this info. in return:

"Setup is unable to perform the requested operation on the selected partition. This partition contains temporary setup files that are required to complete this install."

But when I start up my computer, I have the options of choosing to do the Setup of Windows XP or start like normal.

Can anyone help me please? o_O
