Has anyone tried Webroot Antivirus with OutPost Pro?

Just trying to find out if both above are compatible.

 

I have heard of users using the Complete version with Outpost Pro without a problem (even with our firewall enabled) so you should be fine with just the AV as well but let me know if you run into any problems!

 

i used outpost security suite 7.5.1 w/WRSA during the closed beta without any issues. i just allowed WRSA to communicate without packet filtering (allow all) since i figured that'd be a good way to keep outpost from causing communication issues.

I was at webroot site and was looking to see if the Identity Shield (old SOL) came with the AV only and I didn't see it or are they gonna have another free version like SOL.

 

We will be offering a free version of the SafeOnline equivalent Identity Shield but there isn't one available yet, however, this will be available very soon

 

Can I run Prevx SOL along side webroot AV? I rely on this program for safe transactions.

 

They partially conflict, but we'll be releasing a free Identity Shield equivalent of SafeOnline soon which will replace it.

 

Okay, I guess I will have to wait. I will feel naked with out it. I hope it's soon.

 

running webroot essentials with windows 7 firewall windows defendder will this be enough, love the fact i can add my banking web site to identity shield for protection

 

Yes that's enough just have some free On-Demand scanners like Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware and you should be good to go!
