GFI trojanscan

    Has anyone used the online GFI trojanscan at www.trojanscan.com ? Its free - but any good ? Just testing the waters with the Wilders experts ! :rolleyes:

    We are about to put it up on our "free services" page on www.wilders.org ;). ActiveX needs to be enabled (not everyone likes doing so). In our opinion is fair at the least, taking into account it's a free service. That said: it's a "use on own risk" service. We (our .org team that is) recommend installing a (trial) version from a good and reliable stand alone antitrojan first and foremost. That way, it's you who is in control - apart from the fact the best stand alone antitrojans like for example TDS3 perform a far better job.

    Thanks Paul. A few of us are using this freebie (one or two pal ;)s have suffered trojans). GFI appear to have a good reputation - we'll keep you posted.
