    Hi,
    I installed the trial of nod32 ss from nod32uk.com's email trial link nad all was well.
    Recently I had cpu spikes from ekrn.exe which stopped when I reinstalled XP.

    Now I've been getting BSODs of fault in non paged area, along with bad pool header.
    I posted minidump files at http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?p=618926#post618926 which someone kindly looked at for me - and found this:

    BugCheck 10000050, {fffffffc, 0, 80545136, 0}
    Could not read faulting driver name
    Probably caused by : ntkrnlpa.exe

    BugCheck 19, {20, e25f97, e267bf, d05016a}
    Unable to load image eamon.sys, Win32 error 0n2
    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for eamon.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for eamon.sys
    Probably caused by : eamon.sys

    Is this an XP or NOD32 SS problem?
    I've tried reinstalling but no luck.

    Any ideas would be most appreciated.

    Thanks
    dc

    Thanks for the reply & link.
    I'm not experiencing any problems w/ hdd - this still occurs w/ out any hdds attached; nor do I have Acronis TI installed.

    I've just reinstalled XP (again) so will see how it goes . . .
