    Greetings All,

I have a quick q in regards to the roaming user flag that you can set via the ERA console.

As per the manual the Roaming User flag is decribed as:

Roaming Users: Clients with this attribute will perform the ”update now” task each time they establish a connection with the ERAS (recommended for notebooks). The update is only performed if the client's virus signature database is not up to date.

Now I know you can set the flag manually via the ERA console, but is there ANY way of setting that flag via the ERA policys? Kinda seems pointless if you have to mark each machine that is roaming (i.e notebooks as the description says) manually.

Anyone got any solutions or answers to this one?

Unfortunately policies can't define flags for objects at this point. The best we could do was to make a parametric group for all the mobile systems (did it based on the hostname because our naming conventions made that easy, something else might be a better fit in your case) and then I occasionally select all the objects in that group and set the roaming flag.
