I'm considering buying a licence for Dr. Web, but I notice that there isn't an option for a 1 Year Single User Licence. The minimum is a 2 year subscription. I find it odd that there isn't an option for just a 1 year subscription.

Is there a 1 year licence subscription avaliable? If so, how much is it, in U.S dollars?

    Thanks.

There is a 1-year license for users who migrate from another AV to Dr Web.

BUT at the present time if you are not changing AV, as you have noticed, there is at present no license for just 1 year.

This is a very new policy and hopefully this will change back to normal procedure in the near future.

My advice at present is to download the demo and if you like it, email Dr Web and ask about a 12-month license ;)

Thanks for the reply. I find it strange that Dr. Web wouldn't offer a 1 year subscription. I don't like to commit to a new piece of software for more then 1 year. Usually, if I like the new software after running it for the first year, I then commit to longer subscriptions if it save me some money.

I guess, I'll wait a little longer and see if the guys at Dr. Web change their minds about not having a 1 year licence.
