Disk Director Suite 10 cannot increase free space on my C drive C partition.

My small hard drive has been divided into 3 partitions, and I wish to change that to just two, One large C drive and a smaller D drive, but to be able to do this I have to increases the C drive’s space either from a partition or unallocated space.

I have tried both of the above but still cannot increase the size of the C drive Partition, as this partition contains my OS win ME, can this be done?

    Hello Meadows,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please make sure that you use the latest build (2089) of Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/

To get access to updates you should create an account at:
    http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/
then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

If the issue persists with the latest build please clarify whether you have tried to perform these operations using Acronis Disk Director Suite Bootable CD or from under Windows?

I can also suggest you to download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it with disabled logging and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem still persists then enable logging by running the Acronis drivers installation package once again, reproduce the problem and collect the c:\snapapi.log file.

Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
