I just purchased my 1st Blu Ray Burner. I have never used White Inkjet Hub Printable Media. In the past I have written labels on my Silver backed CD-R's & DVD+R's with either a extra fine or fine point Sharpie.

Are there any problems with writing on White Inkjet Hub Printable Media with a Sharpie?

The reason that I want to buy the White Inkjet Hub Printable BD-R Media is that one reseller has the price cheaper for Philips BD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable 4X BD-R Media than other resellers who have the normal Silver backed BD-R discs.

    Thanks in Advance.

Edit: The White Inkjet Hub Printable BD-R (4X) Media is $1.00/disc and the Silver is $1.16/disc (6X BD-R).

    I just ordered the 25 Pack of Philips 6X BD-R's (BR2S6B25F/27) with the silver tops ($27.99, $1.12/disc).

Therefore, my concerns about the White Inkjet Hub Printable BD-R's is no longer an issue.
