    Hi hdympete,

What spyware did you install? :D

Could you see if the AcroieHelper.ocx is still present in your BHO's
To check this you can use BHODemon or HijackThis.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi hdympete,

First, before I forget again: welcome at Wilders. :)

OK. That would be SpywareBlaster you installed.

The blue coloured parts of my previous post are links. All you have to do is click them and you'll find all the info about the named programs.
I wasn't sure if you already noticed that and didn't want to send you on a needless search operation.

    Regards,

    Pieter

Well SpywareBlaster itself would not disable viewing PDFs (or the BHO required to do so, for that matter). It sounds like some other program you installed, or possible some sort of spyware may be causing the problem.

Also, I should mention that I've had first-hand experience with the Adobe Acrobat reader plug-in for Internet Explorer just locking up the browser completely for no reason on several different PCs (unrelated to the use of SpywareBlaster - this happened before the program was even in the planning stages) - a reinstall fixed the issues.

But if you could follow what Pieter suggested, we might be able to get it working again for you.

    Best regards,

    -Javacool
