I installed Windows 2000 advanced server on my pc. Now i want to go back to windows xp professional as It was before. However, I cannot boot it from the CD even though I change the boot sequence. It seems like the pc don't want to boot from any cd, except the 2000 advanced server CD. I formated the hard drive, but it cannot boot from window xp CD. Thanks for any recommandation that you have.
    thanks

Make sure your WXP CD is good.

Make sure you run a low level format, just to be safe. Restore BIOS to default configuration, set the optical drive as the 1st boot device, save, and exit. Set the hard drive to MASTER or CABLE SELECT. Disconnect all other hard drives from PC.

Reboot PC with the WXP CD in the optical drive.
