BlackWorm (MyWife.d)

    Will Ad-aware stop my machine getting infected with the BlackWorm (MyWife.d) worm ?

    Hi EskimoEd,

    this has nothing to do with Ewido and I don't think it's good to rely on adaware for cleaning out worms nor trojans...

    So it better take care of BlackWorm, it's a known worm.

    As Infinity has ponted out...NO, Adaware would not be able to prevent infection of that WORM.......

    However, if you are in need of a "FREE" ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM just post back an someone will no doubt suggest one to you.......

    The WORM in question gas the ability to do serious damage an pre-cautions should be taken immediately..if not sooner!
