Batch Convert Word 2003 Files To PDF

I have Acrobat 8 Pro but I need to convert many Word docs into PDF and apply a security profile to them that allows to print but not edit the files. Does anyone know if Acrobat can do this? or if not, what is the tool that you would recommend to do this efficiently and least amount of steps - convert each file and automatically apply security profile all in one process such as converting a folder of doc files. Thanks very much for your input.

Did a Google for "Word to PDF" and found this freebie.. I d\l`d it and it scans clean. (you mileage may vary). Sorry, no personal experience with it or other programs of this type.

 

Surely Adobe Pro would be able to apply security, although I have never used it. I do use a freebie called BullZip PDF Printer and it can create PDFs as print only.
