After downloading Audiograbber (CD Ripper) from Snapfiles(div of WebAttack Inc) NOD32 gave me Threat Screens of Win32/Adware.Webhancer.A "trying to open" Winsock2.zip, Winsock Repair, C:\_Restore\Temp, all seen in Help posts associated with this "Nasty". Only "Leave" was ever an Option (once it said simply "Close Screen/there were no hi-lighted options) - Scan & Clean Chk'd. Searches found Nothing in Control Panel Add/Delete, Program Files, nor any ".dll, etc. files" instructed to be Removed if found. Spybot S&D,Adaware SE, Spyware Blaster, BHO Demon, HiJack This all showed Nothing. Once all removed associated with Audiograbber, things are normal after two scans. Snapfiles says their apps are sometimes "Mis-interpreted" by AV's and they "don't support Adware, etc." Does anyone have a clue what is happening here? Would like to use IF Minus Threat Screens. Sent (2) Threat lines data to ESET for review. Many Thanks!

I've since Downloaded Audiograbber again and a NOD32 "Clean-Scan" produced no threat warnings. The threats may have come from another source inthe same time frame I downloaded AG. All appears well.

thanks for updating us - it could also be a false positive that was fixed, or perhaps there was adware in the download that has since been removed... unless you have the files from before to compare to, we'll just have to wonder I guess...
