just to clarify - does the current ESS now have AntiSpam compatible with Thunderbird, or does this mean a future version will have?

I am thinking about switching to Thunderbird. I installed it but it doesn't look like the spam module is working with it.

The next major program update will introduce a plugin for Thunderbird.

Will be glad to see the T-bird plugin become available. There are literally TONS of users of this great email program, me included. ;)

I've actually just ditched Thunderbird and gone back to Outlook (2007), and the anti-spam in Outlook is miles ahead of Thunderbirds when it comes to the sort of spam i am being sent. Thunderbird missed pretty much all of it, not matter how much it was trained, whereas Outlook was recognising it all from the start.

Knowing ESS will include anti-spam for TB will make me head back to it i think.
